I listed as you did for fun a piece of ceder limb. It had the bug tunnels and I listed as Natures Art. No Sale.

I sold 4 pair of badly ripped out jeans to a lady in florida for $16.00 plus $9.00 shipping--it was a bet I made with my wife, I told her I could sell anything on ebay. Well, I won. The lady that won them was making a blue jean quilt---you just never know :icon_thumleft:

A beat up old empty oyster can that sold for $300. Technically, it was trash. Just happens to be a niche market for them. I paid .50 for it.

Empty Redman bags.

Yes Empty, first time I saw them listed on German ebay for 2 bucks each I was shocked. Now I sell all of mine for a buck each and they sell too.

I have no idea what Europeans are doing with empty chew bags but who cares if I am getting a buck each for them.

I was wondering where the "rips" were? very strategic places?
A quilt would be boring.

I once saw a can of INSTANT WATER for campers.
Instructions: open can, fill to top with water, mix, chill & drink.

I just listed a Whites Eagle II SL, it was sitting in my closet.

I have never used it, it looks new, but I have been getting a TON of interest.

Never look down on an old detector!

Is it considered a collectible? by many or just the one you sold it to?

My favourite sale was a "Gutenberg keyboard". I probably have to explain this: We had a politician in Germany that caused a big scandal when it turned out he basically copied together his doctorate diploma. Someone else made the joke first of ripping out all the keys but ctrl, c and v and then someone else again put one just like that on ebay, sold it for thousand or so €, completely crazy. Anyway, I had an old defunct keyboard lying around, jumped on the bandwagon and got 20€ at least :dontknow:

good one!

I have 3 sets of favorite keys, they make life even easier.

ctrl + A
ctrl + C
ctrl + V

highlight all - copy - paste

No, it's collectible. I found another that had sold for less but it was a smaller can if I remember right.

As a joke and maybe possible sale I listed this on ebay. Been up 3 days and got 5 views.

This actually sold. I hope the buyer has some fun with it. Like, the night before a club hunt spread these all over the hunt field.

Takes more than one to drive a price up ya know...

Unbelievable what people will buy.

I might have to sign up and list my metal detecting trash finds....as practice targets useful in simulating a public park for a test bed. :goldbar:

I like to look at MD finds for sale from England. Their trash would be find of the month items at my MD club.

Omg...funny! And soooo right! I can see the their listing: "old bronze spear, it's only a thousand years old..meh.."...ddf
