So the wife and five year old daughter and I took the 2 1/2 hour trip to Assateague State Park, awesome place with the wild horses and beaches, but man they were picked clean by MD'ers! Only found 1 cent, very clean no trash no pull tabs or anything....think maybe they comb it or something. I was shocked not to find trash or anything.

Don't recommend going there, think this place was picked clean seriously, but go there to visit this beautiful park!

Be careful. Most States do not allow MDing on State Parks or property.

Almost ALL of the state parks in Maine allow metal detecting (with a free permit) but National parks do not.

Ohh I already had permission they allow it in MD on State Park, not "NATIONAL PARKS" prob why this beach had been picked clean!
