Assistance on Cross of Lorraine Trade Silver hallmarks

I obtained these two Cross of Lorraine Trade Silver relics at the 2011 Collinsville CSASI show.

Tag reads: 1760's British Trade Silver Cross with the hallmark 'B.E.'

The other is made from coin silver, melted and rolled; hallmark 'C.B.'





I have googled this and cant find a definitive answer on the hallmarks, any ideas?

No luck in the Montreal silversmith lists that have (although my buddy has "Covenant Chain" which more detailed) but did manage a possible match on both from W.H. Carter's N.A. Indian Trade Silver.

Both are from Nova Scotia:
Charles Oliver Bruff 1783-84
Benjamin Etter (Halifax) 1763 - 1827

It will take some time to go through my binders of photocopied articles but this maybe all I find.
Hopefully what you have is the real deal as most trade items being sold today are 99% fake or fantasy pieces.
I'll ask my buddy to look it up in his book.

And from same source (listed in link below , though not claiming it is accurate...) C&B into a rectangle (Cocks & Bettridge [ B ] ) entered 1796

I saw the Benjamin Elkin and C&B when I was googling. I dont think those are a match.
