Eagles are back

That's a clean looking eagle...we have a large population of bald eagles during the
Fall and winter months, as they feed on the dead salmon.

There's nothing more gross than seeing a bald eagle pulling his head out of some salmon's
guts, and the blood and guts are still hanging off of it's head. They are not "dainty" eaters,
that's for sure.

Mostly scavengers. There is a vid of one taking down a fawn at a water shore. I have a recent trial cam vid of a bird chasing a deer at night. First the deer comes running ape chit to trigger the vid and the bird is right behind like a fighter jet. When I walk out of the woods at quitting time bow hunting there are 2 smallish owls that dive bomb me. They pull away at the last minute. Because the smell? I'm too big? They just messing with me? If this happens next year I will place a tennis racket along the path just before their ambush site. Love serving love! Next evening it should be 15-love if things went as planned.
