AT Pro Air Tests - US & Canadian Coins, Rings, Relics & Japanese YEN

I am recuperating from some recent surgery, however, I did also get my AT Pro and performed some air tests only. The ones being shipped to Canada are the Euro-Version, calibrated in centimeters instead of inches and lack the US coin icons. They also have an expanded iron range to suit the UK & Canadian coinage much better. The power output is the same on both US & Euro-Version machines as assured by Garrett. Results in the field will differ. I took each target, gave it a fairly fast sweep movement in front of the coil and measured the point in inches where I started to get a repeatable signal.

thanks air test about 12 in --1 foot on most items --not bad at all.

You know what....I never did record them on my rings and things on that first batch. Sorry about that :dontknow:

Nice post John, :icon_thumright: now if we could just find them laying on top of the ground instead of having to dig through all that pesky grass, roots, weeds, clay, dirt and sand, or dodging jelly fish, stingrays, things that go bump in the night, pull tabs, scrap aluminum foil bottle caps, creepy people, and idiots tosing coins in our paths it sure would make it easier.... :laughing9:

Well at least Garrett's are built TOUGH, meaning a swift whack across a noggin on some of those creepy people will still keep it intact and working. :walk:

if you get a chance to recheck -- post the numbers, please

i want to see how much "seperation" it has between these various items --and see if the nickle rings up differantly than the gold and by how much -- no fancy graphs needed--- just the numbers .
