What are your guys general consensus as far as the AT Pro goes.

I love mine. I have both the Pro and the Gold..

Gold = relic hunting
Pro = ring and coin hunting.

And water proof to 10 feet.

Thanks guys, that's what I was hoping to hear. Actually bought mine a few months back but never really had a chance to use it much. John, is the AT Pro able to pick up gold at all?

Yes the ATP can pick up Gold! The AT Gold operates at a little higher freq. and can find smaller nuggets a little deeper. If I were going Gold prospecting,I'd opt for the AT Gold. For over all detecting the ATPro is hard to beat!

Agree with the previous replies. Found my first gold ring with the pro recently. The pro will treat you well, but takes some time to understand what its telling you. Be patient.

found two pieces of Gold just in the last two weeks!
One was a gold ring and the other a gold charm.
Machine is great! You'll love it!
