I own the TDK WR700 wireless headphones on my Ace 250 and AT Pro and they work great. You need the adaptor and also a volume control to make them work. It takes a little creativity to get all the wires together but well worth the effort.

I got my adapter and the Killer B headphones. What a difference. You do not miss ANYTHING with them. And the cord is long enough that it does not pull the headphones when you lay the detector down to dig. Love them. They are very comfortable.

I use Bose QC15's on my ATP. They are quiet, light, comfortable and easy to store as they fold flat.

I bought a 1/4 to 1/8" adapter for my ACE350. Worked great. Now I plug that into the ATP 1/4" adapter. Deadly setup.. ATP and Bose QC's..

I bet those do sound sweet! And they only cost 2/3 the price of the detector!

I should mention I use them for all my audio needs.. not just as a detector headset.

No need to justify! I think it's great and do the same type of things. If you like it, go for it. Life is way too short! Have fun!
