AT Pro headphones

My headphones that came with my pro died. I already have the adapter that allows me to use other ones. My question is has anyone here done this or should I just buy the same ones? I did try to plug in a pair of Walkman headphones and they were loud and only worked on the right side? Is that because you need something special? Thanks!
Chris

Using the adapter will not necessarily get you working results. There has to be an inline resister (ohms?) or else the speakers won't shut off on the unit. The Grey Ghosts work well, however don't work on the AT Pro International. The stock phones work well, but heavy and hot, but mine have had a good dunking, dried and continued working fine. You can buy the in-line adapter which will allow you to use pretty well any detector, but not in the water.

Good luck with whichever route you take.

Just got the blue ones last Monday. Found a gold ring first time out with them. The tones and Sound is so much different then with the stock headphones.

I cut my plug off the standard headphones to about where the coiled wire starts then soldered a 1/8" female plug inline. I ordered a Koss inline column control from Amazon, "around 7 or 8 bucks. Then I use in-ear plugs--nice and cool. If I water hunt I use the speaker-------IB
