atx , mine lab 2300 , minelab 600

i use a sand shark is it worth moving up to the atx , 2300 , 600 ? ....i hunt in rivers every other rock has iron in it ......i look for 1/4 oz and bigger size only .....never used or seen a atx or 2300 is it worth the difference ?

u dont need a detector for iron a magnet works better .....iron is weighted in tons ...not ounces .....platinum or gold the target

1/4 oz size nuggets I presume? Any of the others would serve you better looking for gold nuggets
