Can anyone help date this spark plug? I have had someone say they thought it might be 1976-1980. Is that accurate?
Here's what I know:
1910 - The Auburn Ignitors Company and The New York Mica and Manufacturing Company merged to form Auburn Spark Plug Company. This is when they began using Mica as an insulating material.

1997 - became SL Auburn
May of 1997 - bought out by Champion

This was found on a farm established in the 1830's, so I'm suspecting it's for a tractor. I was also told at one time spark plugs were "reusable" but I don't know anything about that either.???

I know some people collect these. I would like to know what I have before I pass it on.
Thanks for looking.
