auction oil painting

got this one the other day. Possibly a new england artist. Staples and the canvas led me to believe that it is probably 20 years old or so but I have no Idea on the artist or value. Its a really neat peice hopefully someone can tell me something about it.

It's certainly an asian piece. Those are Chinese junks.
