Authenticating a Richard Nixon Signature

On Friday (Jan. 29, 2010), I went to an auction and bought two pieces of correspondence from the Eisenhower White House to a local guy for like $12. Later in the auction they were selling a ticket stub to 1956 tribute to Eisenhower with Thomas Dewey as guest speaker ($100 per ticket, at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland). I decided since I bought the other Eisenhower stuff I'd buy it and got it for $7. Once I got it, I flipped it over and on the back was a signature of Richard Nixon.

No mention of the signature was made during the auction and there is absolutely nothing to say if its authentic or not. I really couldn't care what, if anything, it would be worth if it was authentic, I'd just like to know if it's real as I think that would be a really neat find.

I compared the signature to some earlier Nixon signatures and I certainly wasn't convinced either way. Here are front and back pics of the ticket. Let me know what you guys think and how I could go about getting a definite answer either way.
