I returned today, to the site I hit on Sunday, hoping for a few more goodies, and man did I get Lucky.
I tried an entirely different area than I hit on Sunday.
I was out for about 2 hours.
My first hit today was a 1920-S Merc-dime at about 7 inches. I was psyched! lol.
Then about 5 minutes later, and 15 feet away, I pulled the 1923 SLQ, at about 6 inches down.
Finally, my first SLQ with a date!
Then spent at least a full hour digging wheat pennies, junk, a 1916 buffalo nickel, the WORSE condition Injun I've EVER dug, (no date), and this locket thing with a Rosary inside.
Started working my way back to the car as it was getting a little dark, and I found this 37 Walker!
Great signal. It was about 8-9 inches down. I was stoked!
That's 2 Walkers in 4 days! VERY strange.
I haven't even covered half of this site yet.
I should be able to get there tomorrow again.
Hope there's still more! lol.
Thanks for looking.

Now that's my kind of hunt, congrats! A pre '25 SLQ with a date is something I've never managed to dig. The dies were altered in '25 to help keep the dates from wearing away so quick. I love SLQ's, walkers and S-mint mercs.

That's some great stuff, you guys are killing me with all the beautiful SLQ's being dug. The rosary and the holder for it are the first combo package I've ever heard being dug. Ya did good.
