Looks like another type of "space related rocks" to me called a tektite. Only mentioning this because I have a couple that look like its twins. If yours is heavy, and strongly magnetic, you probably DO have a valuable bonafide meteorite!

Get on line and order you a test kit and see if its the real deal. I paid about 10 bucks for mine and found out my space rock was real.
