Awesome point, but what is it?

New to hunting and found this amazing point yesterday. Can I get some info on this point? It is exactly 4" and was found in Missouri. Age? Type? Value (I have no interest in selling)? BTW, I can't figure out how to delete photos, sorry for all the pics.

If the point you posted is your first intact find then it looks to me that you are off to a very good start. I think that I would be a regular to that site. Good luck!

I think Gatorboy may have it with Mehlville. Could also be an Apple Creek. Awesome find. Well done sir.

It looks like punch style notching to me so I would say it's a Lost Lake and a very nice one. Congrats on the find!

Yes sir, that would have dropped ME into the stream! It will be tough to top that one.

I would have to agree with Reaper. It's exhibits better knapping than the later Mehlville or Apple Creek points. I would say it's probably a Pulaski, or early archaic corner notch.
