Back "2" Back 100 coin days! And a bum story!!!

Last hunt 101 coins today 113! Anyone ever find a teddy bear like this one hoping it is gold but doubt it. Will have to get it tested. Stayed past my usual 3 hour hunt 4 hours 15 minutes. 3 coins spills of 18, 10 and 7 coins.

Now the funny story.... About 5 minutes before I left a bum came up and asked me what I was doing. I said well mainly looking for coins. He said "you find anything, let me see". I said around 100 coins proudly! He started laughing and said "what a waste of time"! Then he said>>>"Are you Polish" I said no, I am Irish and French. he said 'go buy a restaurant you been here way to long, you should know better"! he then walked away....I was not going to let him ruin my 100 coin back to back days. And because I was having a good day thought it was quite funny

Nice finds and hunt! Funny about the bum, I have a lot of people tell me I will not find anything, LOL. My neighbor laughed when I said I was going detecting last night, I found a cache of jewelry and showed her, she was impressed. I'll post it up this weekend. HH, Mike

Gregg, that was a heck of a haul! When that Bum Dude asked about the restaurant, I would have said, "The lunch special for the day is the "Knuckle sandwich," do you care for a taste?"

I was getting a scattered signal, found the teddy's head first, body on a second scan about 2-3 inches to left

I'm going to have to speed up as I usually hunt longer for alot less coins. You must have coin popping down, I will need to try to master that for the shallow coins.

No I would do just the opposite! I prefer slow hunting but accurate pinpointing is where I save the time and yes coin popping is a must for me! I usually will pop the shallow ones in softer soil. Otherwise the lesche comes out! Honestly I find almost all my coins from 0.0 to 6.5 inches. Most 0.0 to 3.5.... The slow hunting works for me....but we all have our own style.
