back again (spike)

I have found a least 100 handmade nails at this same site,but this one i found today looks like the head is broke off and it is still 6" long.any ideas? the site is in the woods on high land.

its a large type corner or rafter type nail / spike --used to tie in the larger main support wood beams together for strength --thus its larger size. -- the smaller nails were for more common use.
