Back in the game and not a bad weekend back!

After an 8 year leave of absence from detecting, I am back, and my wife and I were able to get 2 solid days of detecting in. She is brand new to metal detecting and it was her first time to swing one! I had discovered a Union CW campsite and picket post about 10 years ago but was curious to detect some private yards between the two. The result was not only some good relics but also some wheaties, silver coins and a silver ring. Man it feels goooooood to be detecting again!

LOL...actually she DID beat me...the first find was one of the roundballs...and she found it. She also nailed the silver Washington quarter, the Rosie and the silver ring, and another roundball and the two fireds..I got the rest. Looks like I have serious competition!
