Back in the Hunt! Got another Excal 1000

Hey All,

Got another Excal 1000 (due to my main one started acting up). Actually got a great deal for $750. It's a 2006 model, but the guy had bought the extended warranty when he bought it new. Said he was having problems with it in 2008 with the battery cable so he sent it in for warranty repair and Minelabe said the coil was bad as well, so has a new coil too. Also got 2 scoops included and an extra coil shaft (dive shaft) + battery+carry bag. Now I got 3 stainless steel scoops LOL. Well see you out at beach 8)

Hey K... Looks like your all set to clean out the beach. (Were you out yesterday? Intense rain and lightning.)
Can't say theres much there, but with all the wave action, at least the sand is moving around.

Great to have a back up too. Now you can get the coil fixed on the old unit and not have any down time. If only the weather would change for us.
