3 weeks from my back surgery and I'm back digging. :o I found some really strange CW relics today. I will be posting some on the what is it section. I was lucky to find a Copper-Nickel,Oak Wreath with Shield today. Can't make out the date but it is the 1800's. Also some 3 ringers and odd pieces. Oh yeah as you can see I included a picture of my new neck. Now should I ever pass out while detecting there is no excuse for one you guys not to be able to find me. :o

Two Titanium plates & 10 screws in my left arm. Fell from a ladder & got it caught in the rung on the way down. Snapped it in half. Wow that was cool. Can you say morphine. Hey Sentinel I just noticed you are a good o boy. Good man. Thanks for your back up the other night. Hillbilly Bread<><

I'm glad to hear you're back at it. At least it wasn't hand surgery it would be a bummer detecting with metal in you're hand.

Hey Lou, Golfing in 6 weeks? I give you the trophy for that one. I detect but look like Frankenstien and no longer do the happy dance. :) The things we do for our hobbies. ;D

Wow...that neck pic. looks familiar! I have 2 titanium rods and 4 screws in my neck, a titanium cage in my lower back (L5-S1) and 2 more titanium rods and 4 screws in my low to mid back (L1-L2). Oh yeah, I also have an internal bone stimulator in my back due to not getting a good fusion and one of the screws loosening up! My fiancee's son gets a kick out of running my metal detector over my back and hearing it "find" my metal...lol Anyone know what Titanium is worth...haha!

Well, at least some future day they'll be digging us up. Maybe all this metal will increase the sensitivity of our detectors. I have been making great finds since the surgery. :o

Nice relics and always smile when I find the 3 ringers. Super treasures!

Be easy now Ron, no over doing it, if you mess up all that pretty reconstructive surgery your doctors are going to have a cow. But I know by the looks of the xray, you must have endured alot of pain before the fix it took place.

I will remember if I find any bodies I'll scan their necks before I rebury them. :P

Good to see that you made it back. Keep on digging!! Did you have them stencil your vital information to those plates? You know. Like an internal dogtag??? ;) ;D Good luck and don't wrok too hard!!

Nice finds if I get in your neck of the woods I will look you up. HBB<><

Thanks Charlene. Almost 2 years of nagging back pain. Hopefully this will be it for me. Thanks for the rebury offer. please don't forget to post me in the " What Is It?" Forum first. :o

Roy, Glad Your Up And Digging, Nice Relics Too, Except The One In Your Neck, That Hurts All The Way Down Here! trk5capt...
