Had a few hours today so I decided to go somewhere besides my workplace site. Found some ammo and related items and a curious bullet tip, but I don't think it's a bullet

Ah. Then nevermind about the arrow tip. (There are arrow tips that are metal and look like that, but the bottom part would be threaded to screw into a modern arrow.)

That is definitely a bullet as evidenced by the rifling marks and the cannelure (the crimping groove around the bullet).
