Hi everyone,

Haven't been on that much in the last week. My son got really sick Saturday and was in the hospital for 3 straight days.

I didn't get to do any hunting over the holiday break. He had some kind of stomach flu basically.

He is fine now but his Birthday was Sunday so he missed his party also.

But I'm gonna have him one this weekend. I also just found out that my wife is pregnant again.

So I am now preparing myself for another kid. It's been tough lately with all the changes and being an adult.

Not alot of play time for me. But I did get out about 3 times or so.

Nothing really great but still some finds.

All the wheat's but one is from the teens. Last evening was good. I got 6 old coins in less than 2 hrs.

I saw the most amazing site though everyone. Me and my son were hunting in the woods last night.

I look up and see a big deer. I look a little closer and see 2 more right next to him.

When they lifted there heads I saw the biggest racks I ever saw on three bucks. Never saw three bucks together ever.

The felt was still on there antlers. And believe me or not when I say this all three of them were over 10 points. I tried to count them. They were between 10 and 14 point bucks.

One's antler was bent all down towards his face. I was about 15 yards away from them.

I was so mad I didn't have a camera with me. They didn't want to leave the area. I basically forced them.

After that I was so worked up with excitement I couldn't even hunt for the next half an hr.

I got a 1885 Indian a no date buffalo and a coin ran over by train tracks I think. I think it's a Indian.

I found 2 1918 wheat's near were it was found. I had a good evening and packed it up.

Save some coins for next time. Plus I had no bug off and the mosquito's were getting to me.

I plan to get out alot this fall. I will be hunting alot and getting into some grown in area's.

Hopefully I can get some more good finds this year. All in all it was a solid year for me.

Not a monster year but still a good one.

Thanks for looking and listening.

HH Jer

Thanks everyone,

Grave robbing isn't right. But there's alot of not right people out there.

I don't hunt grave yards. There just happens to be a large old grove in front of a old grown in grave yard.

The graves are in the woods fallen over. The grove is all grass and it's still gets cut.

They can cut the grass but they can't fix up the graves. Talk about having your priorities mixed up.

Booby,

I feal the same way. Ten yrs of my life are gonna be tied up taking care of kids.

This will be my last one I hope. Kids cost money and take up space.

My dad comes from 15. His mother had 6 misscariages to. Are family has a kid at the drop of a hat.

My grandmother has over 60 grand kids and great grand kids.

My dad had 5. That's way to many for me. It seems to take a while to set in for me.

I won't think about it alot till the wife starts to show. I haven't even told everyone yet.

Just a few people. I'm sure you all know what it's like breaking it to the family another kid is coming.

I'll be more excited as time goes on. Gotta make sure everything is o.k first.

Wife still gotta see the doctor. We figure it's about 7 weeks old right now.

Man it goes quick. But having little babies is awesome. I have already forgot what it was like when my boys were that little.

Now there big and bad and don't want no love lol.

Take care everyone,

HH Jer

Jer, Having three isn't much different than having two. Been there. :D I had two boys before #3 turned into a little girl. Kinda nice change of pace. But enjoy them because they'll be gone before you know it. Mine were born "yesterday" and have children of their own now. You'll cheer up more as time goes on. The shock hasn't worn off yet. ;) Stay happy for Mom. She probably needs a little cheering up, too! :o

Nice stuff you found, too! I keep threatening to go to my little country church and graveyard and putt-putt around some with my MD. It was built in 1860, just a little one-room building. No bathroom, no insulation, no central heating/cooling. Pretty neat place! But I gotta remember to stay well away from the graveyard part. Back in the days when the cemetery was first set up (1861), wooden markers were the norm, and of course they're all gone now. Only dents remain in the ground where the graves are.

Glad your son is well. Those can be scary times. Makes you know how much they mean to you!

Nice post Jer! Congrats on the third, hope it's a girl, our third and final child was a girl and she is awesome! My daughter is 9, she bought me the perfect finds pouch a few weeks ago, I went back and bought 4 more at $2.50 a piece. Great finds you found as well. As detectorists, we really get to see a lot of nature. Shake it easy and HH, Mike

Jer, I always enjoy your posts and seeing your goodies. It must have been an awe inspiring moment to see those deer, too.

I'm glad your son is doing OK. Congratulations to you and your wife. :)

Thanks alot guys.

Sorry I let it get lost in the mix. I had a busy weekend. I did get out one day though.

I got lucky and found 9 old coins in a grove. I'll post them soon.

I'm still thinking about those deers. I got friends who hunt that are dieying for me to show them were they were.

Just about broke the news to everyone in the family. All are happy for me and I got there support on it.

That makes me feal alot better. Breaking the news is tough. I'm 25 so the thought of three kids is alot.

Everything will be fine. Having kids has been really cool and really hard at the same time.

why do you double space your lines of type?

Thanks alot Thompy.

Everything is back to normal again.

MW, The reason for the double spaces is to make it alot easier for people to read and follow it.

I see alot of stories on here that are 3,000 words without one space inbetween them.

I get lost reading them and it makes it hard. I know you are only supposed to double space after paragraphs.

Nobody but you ever said anything.

HH Jer

just joshin ya........i got a small monitor!!!!!!

Lol, No problem man. I'll try to remember to make them into smaller paragraphs.
