i went back to the spot i was talkin about and found some keepers was wondering why the material get that worn look to all of them, the inside is real dark almost black, idhelp and is little one same as the one on the right just broke only one side appears to be broke not sure about these scrapers? both have chip or wear in same spot front end scrapers quartz piece at bottom half point or tip////? this is what the inside of these look like, i know its alot of questions sorry, but any input would be greatly appreciated thanks yall

Looks like a recent break on that last piece. My guess is quartzite on that piece.

The "rustic" appearance on the outer portion of the stone is the patina. Just like old furniture and guns, the patina is a tale tell sign of the artifacts age. It is caused basically by all of nature's elements over a long span of time. Patina is a good thing!!

Your first two look like Morrow Mt. To me. The next two are probably a type of drill. I saw a nice milky quartz blade and a couple of end scrapers of the same material. Nice finds!!

VERY good hunt you had! Those look great. On the quartz pieces there should be a bit of a thick spot kinda a bump if you will look. At that spot is where it would of been put on a handle. All the way to the other side it should tapper down and that will be the blade side. I have quite a few of these type of knifes/ scrapers. Points are different though. On the drills/ reamers those look very defined. Most of mine as far as I can tell are 5 to 6k BP or older. You found some good ones and those are better than the ones I have found. Thanks for showing them, rock On #8 those are waste flakes you can keep them if you like to study but most just pitch them.

That bulb is probably the striking platform from where it was struck off of the mother stone. Most artifacts I find in like flint it has been removed but for some reason these made from quartz they just worked them and left it on. Maybe it is too hard to remove it without breaking the tool. I like to study the quartz artifacts the most.
