I'll skip explaining what I'm doing in this spot, it's in two other posts. I'm basically just scooping shovels of metal out of the sand and running it through a classifier.

Can't make this stuff up...so I find my second gold ring ever today...second day in a row (10k this time maybe a real diamond IDK yet).

In a real condescending tone a lady asks me "what are you doing, you know there ain't no gold around here right" I said I'm just cleaning up the area and taking the nails and glass out so kids don't cut their feet. (Partial truth since my daughter did cut her foot the day before)...not a minute after she says that, I throw another scoop in the classifier and this pops up.

It took everything in me to not say oh yeah...whats this!?!?! Holding it like He-mans sword....but figured everyone and their mother would start doing what I was doing....so I let it be my little secret and stuck with the glass story.

So, I get home and start separating all the glass, iron, and "clad"...$9.30 worth...

And I end up getting two wheaties and this sneaky little devil.

I can't stop pulling stuff out of this spot....but I think I have almost worked it to death unfortunately.

That's awesome! People will ask "Is that a metal detector?" And I'll say "No, it's a junk collector!" Or they will ask "Havr you found any gold?" And I will say "nope, just junk". I can have two gold rings in my pocket and I will never tell them that. I've even trained my kids to say the same.

Ah, much better now. You are providing a FREE and beneficial service to the beach owner and ALL their customers removing the potentially injurious trash mixed in their sand. So you were being honest as far as I am concerned. True your main objective was silver and GOLD but, NO ONE else needs to know that! Great scores and you may want to keep a few rusty razor blades in your pouch next time at the beach to show the next busybody who tries to deflate your MOJO. :laughing7:
