Back to the Field for 1.5hrs Yesterday

ANTIQUARIAN · Dec 24, 2014

I got back to the farm field for a short hunt yesterday, which was cut short due to heavy rain! Sure wish the buckles were complete. :sadsmiley:

The aluminum number tag looks to have some age to it… what do you think? :icon_scratch:

Hope to get back again on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather depending of course!

Hope everyone has a peaceful Christmas, :icon_santa:

Sweet old buckles, even if they aren't complete. Congrats! Being able to just get out in Canada in Dec. has to be a treat in itself. :occasion14:

Happy Holidays,
Doug

You're like the U.S. postal service, here. Niether rain, sleet nor snow can stop you from coming through. Merry Christmas.

I was out for an hour this afternoon, but with no luck.
So I went home to spend time with the family instead.

Best of luck to you in 2015 my friend,
Dave

Nice buckles!
Sure nice to be able to dig in late December!
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year full of fantastic finds!

pepperj · Dec 24, 2014

You should be out shopping instead of hiding out in the fields. :laughing7:

Nice catches on the buckles, looks like there's some life to the season yet, +10 and no snow really down this way either.

All the best to you Dave & your family over the holidays.

Nope, my wife did all of the shopping, my job is doing all the wrapping later tonight! :tongue3:

No snow here either, got out earlier today for an hour, the fields were an absolute quagmire!

Hope you and your family have a peaceful Christmas Jim!

We have to take the mild winter weather whenever possible here in the east.
I will be making my daughter and wife breakfast, then it's out for 4hrs of Christmas detecting! :laughing9:
