So, I was checking out my back yard (about twenty square feet that I can actually hunt), when my neighbor scared the life out of me by going to his garage.....made me jump.
We got to talking and of course, I asked if I could hunt his huge fenced back yard.....since his house is on the market and has been vacant for months, he said SURE!
So, a few hunts, and most of the area is very difficult to hunt as he removed all the stucco from his house (and the wire behind it), and it is ALL over the area right around the house...oh well.
So, I found alot of flashing, a few nails, and the clad and bits you see here.
A hair barret that was seven inches down!, some clad (a quarter with a hole drilled in it?).....a few wheaties and MY FIRST SILVER!
wow, what a great signal that XLT coin program gets on Silver!
Thanks for looking.
Amazing that the dime that has been in the ground a long time (I am supposing...it was about thee inches down), and a 1991 dime look remarkably different!
Amazing how well silver holds up, I DID NOT CLEAN the dime!
see here:
Thanks for looking, and of course...
