This is my favorite way to backlight a case. I modified a case of points I purchased that were glued to a pane of glass. I removed the black backing and padding added more glass front and rear placed in a window you get new views all day. I tried other methods to backlight but this worked best for me.

You need to patent those frames and sell them. Nice points and what is in the middle looks like a polished stone?

I was told it was a game piece from China?
Looks a lot like mine I found in a creek. I don’t find much modern trash in that creek. No marbles or anything like that so I truly believe mine is NA related. I can’t prove it other than I’ve seen some in other collections from my area but theirs are smaller. Mine looks to be the same oblong shape just not perfectly oval but is polished completely on all sides.

So are the oval ones beads around the stone?

Great idea I bet not many people display their points in a window, but good idea to let the sun do the backlighting for you.
I'm out on the edge of wild lands so no problem but there now in a cabinet with other artifacts.

Great idea, very cool...

nice material.... look at that orange one at 4 o'clock... those are my favorites.
