Backyard finds

HI,

I'm posting this for my son Matt. I'll let him take over.........I decided MDing after school in my back yard,found some pennies in my front yard, then i found this ring with a $ on it, then i went to the front lawn ( and having a guy ask me if i was digging for gold) and there i found a dime,its not much but it is my first ring i have found!!
