Backyard t post

Nothing glamorous or valuable but cool. My property backs up to an old stage coach road, and was cattle grazing land as recently as the 60s. This one was about 6 inches down. I dunno if it's that old but it would make sense.

That's a windshield scraper for a stagecoach.

Used to be a very popular design here in Minnesota. All the newer posts I see now use a different shape piece on the post; not the triangle shown. However, I think they were still sold as recently as late-90's.

I'm in the foothills of Northern California. My house was built in 1958 as part of some cattle grazing land. The cattle land is long gone, but I still have an acre that is more or less undisturbed. I didn't start taking pictures of anything until this t-post, but so far i've found 3 square nails, the t-post and a piece of bailing wire.

This is the first one i've seen with that big of an end on it out here in California. Its also really thick and heavy. much heavier than anything i've seen at a hardware store.
