DFX, COMPASS SCANNER,
Today I got up and going pretty quick. This morning I had one thing on my mind it was to check out a patch of woods not a block and a half from where I found my US buckle a couple of weeks ago. I noticed when I went to my storage building yesterday that they brushed hoged some paths through the woods. I figure if the troops were camped a block from here they had to been all around this area. Well I started swinging and about the third signal I dug out popped this 1910 s Barber Half at three inches. What a trip, well now I am all grins I go a little farther I get a signal I dug and out comes this disc it looks copper, nope it's a missouri tax token oh well. later I find a toy gun that been hit by a mower or something, Then comes out this button that has a star on front, its pretty coroded but its still a good one to me. I sure could use some help on a ID for it and the brass or copper (I think) object that has threading on the end. The button is a little over a 1/2 inch dia, the brass dudad is 3 - 3/4 inches and also found a white metal relligious medalian says pontificial association of the holy childhood, and a base off a 16 gage shot shell. Another good day so close to home. You just cant beat this hobby

Interesting finds. Great hunt.

Yes I forgot about that heavy little cast deal, its a incense burner made by Vantines, I see that some sell on Ebay I think this one is missing its hood and that big copper disc with the 4 holes in it. I guess it is what it is. Thanks for looking and pardon my grammer and spelling. HH. JYD

Nice digs! Not so sure about the button, I haven't seen one like it. Very unique anyway. Missouri Rocks!

Yea that may be a stretch calling it CW and it may be a stretch calling it a button, it may be some kind of pin or something, sure looks cool to me, and its been so long since I found a silver coin I about did a back flip when I seen that big old barber roll out of that shovel full of dirt. BANG, BANG. Thanks for the replies tsgman and DD-777. JYD.

Beautiful Barber!

Finding a Barber half is still on my list. I'd be like you and at least attempting that back flip! :D Beautiful coin, JYD! Congrats on all those finds~

Beautiful half....congrats!
That brass dooflicker looks like some sort of pressure or level machine guage.

Nice Going on the Barber Half Junkyard......If it was me,I'd call it CW too ;D Congrat's and HH!!

A barber half is a glorious find and especially if it's an "S" or "O" mint.

Awsome Barber Half!
Now if you give it to the boss you will surely be out of the dog house!
If you tell everyone she found it you will have more browny points than you can count!

Congrats!
