Barber Quarter and Merc Dime

[ShovelNose]

Hunted one of the oldest neighborhoods in Clt. First house yeterday in PM and this Am. Built 1931 and has a history of being where community picnics were held. 1917 Merc was found with 6" HF coil tight to sidewalk and 1894 Quarter was found 2" over and a couple inches deeper than dime. Found quarter when I changed to 9" MF coil. Oldest coin find with topping 1898 Barber dime. Got permission to hunt several neighbors house built in 21' and 24'while there so i'll post those when happens.

Nice finds...and I like the Indiana quarter too, featuring an Indy car that runs at the Indianapolis 500.
