Barn wall find!!!

Found this in a hidden pocket of the barn wall while i was removing the siding on the outside. Any ideas as to type or time period?

Is the "snapped" area worked....what I mean is....the area where the actual "break" occured, not the sides.....the snapped area that would be horizontal to the sides of the base....damn, I bet that doesn't make one bit of sense...lol. Image?

I am not a knapper but it looks like the snap was two breaks or strikes. Patina the same as the point. Just so hard to tell the knapping is very fine precise. Dug from a rock shelter.
I will dig it out and do a new post so we do not hi jack this one
