Those are some great coins! Congratulations on your finds!

Great looking Mexico City 8R.
I was hoping it would be a 'TH' assayer; but still a fantastic find in that condition; 26.99 grams of .896 fine silver.
Don........

Thanks Don some info there I didn't know, maybe I will get lucky and find some more this spring I have a few more and lots of pics from this period I will keep posting them as I think a bit of show-n-tell will help winter go away faster.....HH....Bonz

Those are some beautiful coins! :occasion14:

I would like to see the not so perfect coins dug at the battle sites, if any! Wow, eye candy!!!

Those coins would make a great Christmas gift!! Hint. Hint! Lol. Great finds.

Wow, old silver , congrats

Impressive silver, any one of then would make me smile for many moons. Congrats.

Very nice. Those are some chunky pieces of silver.

Oh yes! Very nice scores. That draped bust quarter is a wicked rare one.

Hi Scrappy, it is a "half" dollar , around the edge is stamped "half a dollar".....Bonz

Some great coins there, particularly the 8 Reale and the 1807 Draped Bust Half

Hi 1320..no I haven't cleaned them only soap and water they are pure silver and not debased so they come out of the ground very clean. They are loses from skirmish and battle sites so as you can see the dates put them within a few years of the war, that equates to very little circulation and their condition.......HH.....Bonz
