be prepared to cry

Vibes, that's exactly what my cat was doing when my other cat had been killed by a speeding neighbor. And then he just layed down next to him in the street. It was heartbreaking.

It's hard to believe some people think animals don't have emotions.

MightyAP...it's ok, let it go and flow:)

Felinepeachy...I bet that had to be heartwrenching to say the least. Oh animals definitely have deep emotions and ways of communicating those feelings!

OMG that was hard to watch, I recommend tissues before playing this.

Oh my goodness, that is the saddest thing I have seen. What am I going to do for the rest of the day, can't get the image out of my head.

What responsible pet owner allows their pets to roam free? The dead cats owner is 100% responsible for the results of this accident, IMHO.

On a side note, the Turkish driver probably didn't have a radar detector!

Would if it was a stray cat, or had ran away from it's owner??

I have cats that are indoor/outdoor so I guess I'm irresponsible then. :o

I believe that people who truly love their cats, love them enough to allow them their independence. Anyone who knows cats, knows that they are not happy being confined. You sound like an excellent cat dad IMHO :cat:

An irresponsible pet owner is one that lets a pet that's not spayed or neutered run around breeding with all the other animals that aren't fixed. That's how you end up with the 70,000 unwanted dogs and cats born every single day in this country.

So very true Peachy! Some people either dont care enough or are just too lazy to get their pet fixed, there are so many programs that help with the costs, some are free! No excuse at all.........lets face reality, so many people should not be allowed to own a pet at all.

Thanks Peachy and I agree.

I just let our Cat Mittens out a few moments ago.

Awww, I had a cat named Mittens once. I named her that because she was polydactyl (had extra toes) Her front feet looked like she was wearing big mittens LOL

:hello:

Thank you, vibes. :'(

Life is the most precious gift.

For those of you that HAVE viewed the video (I haven't) FEMA has reopened their office in New Orleans.
