I am looking at two detectors……Whites Beach Hunter 300 and Whites Surf Dual Field Pi……. which will work better for searching the beach from the waterline to about 5 feet deep ??
Anyone have experience with either machine?

thanks:hello2::hello2:

They both will work, but the Surfmaster will go deeper. Frank five star.webp

Depends on how much iron and trash in your location. With the pulse you will dig everything. I believe your better off with the beach hunter. In all metal it's plenty deep and you can switch to discriminate to check the target. Pulses are good at clean sites and where the wave action isn't so bad. Trying to scoop a target in the waves at 12+ inches is a mother. Good luck, do your research. Their both great machines.
