Beach Hunter 300

Has anyone had any experience with a newer model with the neutral bouyancy coil? I would be using this for fresh water only. I see early models had their share of issues. Are the newer ones better? I also read rumor that Whites is coming out with something new. Anyone else hear anything?

I have had really good luck with my Beach Hunter I.D., I wouldn't know anything about the neutral buoyancy coil though. I only hunt swimming areas mainly with mine and I've never had it in any of the great lakes, I more or less hit the swimming holes myself. I found my first ever platinum ring this past 2012 summer with it hunting about knee deep at a public access site.
