Beach hunter

Hi all I haven't had much time on my beach hunter 300 since I have been using it I seem to think my finds have dropped off I feel I am swinging to fast so my question is the hunter a fast sweep or slow sweep detector on the beach, or mybe Iam having a bit of a slump lately ?

I used a rather slow sweep and think different locations work better with different speeds. Could the slump just be more hunters in your area?

Beach Hunter ID has lightning fast target response and recovery speed. You can swing the BH quite fast. Way faster than the Excal.

Anyway to see lights better in full sun on Beach Hunter 300? I stay in all metal then switch to disc on a hit & listen.

I seldom use my BH I.D. on land but when I do I've noticed that I can go right by a target swinging too fast very easily so when I'm hunting on the beach I always go slow cause with the concentric coils the deep stuff won't be missed as easy.

I agree with Irish gold hound , the BHID has a very fast response , perhaps 3 seconds for full swing ! Any interruption in audio deserves further investigation , on really clean/ quiet beaches reverse disc works well all metal than disc to judge target , I got a beautiful 18 k necklace wrapped in with a giant 2-1/2" iron link from an old buoy chain in waste deep water in a local bay beach which gets pounded by many water hunters red led/with a flutter of yellow! My only complaint about the BHID was deep bobby pins always fooled me!

Sandman I think you are on track there is a lot more out there that would help, I might slow down a bit and see if it gets better I took out the Cibola after work today picked up $20 and a ring mybe the slump is over.
