Beach Hunting ATPro or GTI2500?

Neither are particularly good at a salt water beach. If you're just hitting the dry sand, either one will work ok. You don't really need a backlight if you have the settings correct. You're going to dig all non-ferrous anyway, right? 
Overall, between those two, I'd go with the AT Pro. It's waterproof and you can detune it to work in the wet better than the GTI.
