I normally just throw this junk away, but, it looked interesting enough for me to post it. Metal seems to be some aluminum or pot metal alloy. What is curious is the three little plastic cones attached to the one end. Only one cone is actually attached to an eye on the end of the piece of metal. Maybe originally there were two other metal pieces like this one that the other cones attached to, making some weird sort of tripod? Any ideas?
