I was able to get back out this morning, but just for an hour or so. This is on my aunt's property (about 16+ acres) and is purportedly smack in the middle of where Collinsville, Oklahoma was until they moved all of the wooden buildings in 1899 - 1900 about 1 mile where the railroad came through (it went 1 mile west to avoid an additional creek crossing). I found a couple of things but the big discovery so far has been more in mapping the site. I've now plotted an area that was a burn / trash pile / privy, hard to say (maybe all?). This is one time I'm happy I was in all metal mode on the T2 and was also in the mood to dig what I knew was crap iron signals. Pays off sometimes :).

Anyway, ended up with 2 .40 caliber round balls and a Mickey's Big Mouth bottle from the 24th week of 1981. I know there have been at least 2 modern homesites around that area. One from the 1920's and another around 1960 / 65 so I expect to find a mixed bag. More to come, especially when I get some real time to hunt. I wish my beer was full like Molewackers was :notworthy:

Not sure why the images are all horizontal. They are not shot that way nor are the originals. Sorry, I'm not liable for any medical bills due to neck cramps :dontknow:

Keep at it theres a lot of land to cover

Also welcome

I have noticed that large images post sideways. If you resize your picture from it's current 4031 x 1960 pixels to one that is around 1400 X 680 it should post in the correct orientation.

I remember drinking Mickey's Big Mouth from High School days...now there's some nasty stuff....

They used to make CrazyHorse too :) Nasty, but got the job done!

I Don't recall either brew, but I did not start drinking until 1984.

Also in 1992 , I discovered Old Style was popular when I went to Chicago , It was even served at Wrigley Field.

I'm sad to report the the found beer was rather boring in flavor - but Free is a very good price!

I'll toss some Snappy Tom in for Sunday hair of the dog -
