Best Box Ever!!!! (for me)

Picked up two boxes of halves late last week and searched them over the weekend.

First box yielded just one 40%, but also gave me a gold plated '80 and some NIFCs I was missing. It also gave me a '78D - not a big deal, but for some reason it's been a hole in halves album for a while. While it has a D mint mark, it looks like a proof (although a little beat up). Lots of marked coins with "LB" in blue or purple sharpier.

Second box was a new personal record for me - one 90% Kennedy and four 40%'s. Not nearly as big a score as others have reported on here, but the best box for me so far. The box also gave up a '87D I needed and some NIFCs I didn't have yet.

My average for halves has been right at one silver per box; this latest box bumps me above my average (for the time being).

Also had my biggest coin dump so far. I usually spread around my dumps, but this weekend one branch with a machine wasn't busy and the employees were really nice, so I dumped over $500 of halves into the machine.

Will order more halves tomorrow.

Awesome.. Keep on hunting and those big boxes will hopefully come.. Its always a great feeling to finally see some silver in those Half boxes after a long skunk streak..

Nice to find some silver. How many boxes have you searched so far? Keep looking - you'll get a good score eventually. Nice to see you are starting to get a little thick-skinned in your dumping ventures. Won't be long until you are dumping $7500 at a time like TimZim!
