Best cent ever found CRH!

Went to my local gas station this morning and the fellow working handed me a handful of wheat pennies! Said he pulled them out of the till from time to time. Have to work today so will search them later

Brockage error cent and 3 Indians. I've taken a break lately, but I am going to start back up soon.

1955 Doubled Die found a couple months back. I stopped at 5 banks that day and bought 10$ in cents at each bank. It was in one of those rolls. It has some old damage on the reverse. An expert from another forum gave it a market grade of VF. It's at PCGS being slabbed.

That is so awesome and also inspiring knowing they still out there. Can't help bit wonder how other got into circulation

i would have to say XF 1910 lincoln cent right now, not valueable, but also a 1915 XF wheat :) as to any denomination, i reeally have not found a coin worth more then any other. (ex: common date walkers, bens, wheats, etc), though i did come across a dateless "D" mintmark buffalo and i nic-a-dated it and it turned out to be a 1914-D

Any XF wheat is a nice find!

not the best cent i've ever found, but doing 2 penny boxes today i came across a very worn 1917-D wheatie, any old wheat with a mintmark is always nice! 95 years old too.
also in the penny boxes were 2 red wheats from 1955 and 1956. cent boxes here are random results, usually there are tons of 2012 pennies(sometimes solid rolls), but once those move out, you must buy the pennies up before more new ones roll in. i bought 9 boxes of cents 2 weeks ago with not a single 2012 box, i could go out this week and buy 10 more and have 5+ solid 2012 boxes and many partially solid boxes.

17-D is a good find! Better to find a good grade in this year by this point the dies were so worn. As a matter of fact they remained that way until about 1968. A little in site that a lot of people are not aware of is that 1917 had a double die. The highest on record sold was a MS-65RD it sold for $18,750. But like you said any teen wheat found is awesome and even better with a mint mark.

I'm extremely jealous

1912 cent, found next to a donation box at school. I'm happy that cent didn't go in to the box, and that my zinc cent went in.:)

Well actually I found Silver in Cent rolls twice (Foreign silver) but they both had holes in them... You choose whats better yo!

What were the foreign silver coins?

That is funny!

Not sure if this counts but I found a 1903 Canadian large cent in a roll of halves when I was a teller.

I found a 1970s small date in AU condition a couple of months back.
