Best knife/blade I found

Hello, I haven't posted on here for sometime, but I've found enough to fill some cases !
This one I found Tuesday the 25th. Ive posted it on Artifact sites & have had many ideas on what it is Preform/Knife? Type?All I know is its one of the best pieces I think I've ever found!

This is the one I believe to be first stage cobbs… the notch in the middle of the base is unique, I cannot say if this was intentional or not… keep kick’n dirt👍

Congratulations on the great find! So would these blades be used many times? I would think so if they could be retrieved.

Demoncatspacestar… here’s a few pics.
The single(with the quarter) I’m typing as a north blade… the other pic.(with the3)I’m typing as cobbs… cobbs are always beveled, except the first stage, my bottom piece is not beveled, I’m typing it as a first stage cobbs.. I could be wrong… your piece also appears to be heat treated.. if so, I believe it to be a north blade… heat treating started in the mid archaic period.
The cobbs is much older than the north..

I like the crystal like inclusion in the knife in the middle! I've got a broken piece with an inclusion similar but I just assumed it was broke while making it & tossed aside?

Yes I would think If they are Blades/knifes/Axes, they would be used like everyday tools/utensils & probably kept close and reused & resharpened? IMO
And in the cases of arrowheads used for hunting reworked if needed?

I'll try, I can't seem to get good lighting, I might have to wait till I get my photo booth to get a good macro shot?
