Best Marine/salt water metal detector

My friends and I are going to start metal detecting. We live in Florida and plan to do land and underwater. Can anyone offer their opinion on the best detector to invest in for serious detecting. We want detectors that are verital and acurate in both environments. We plan to dive no more than 300ft...Thank you

You are not really a diver are you? Recreational divers are trained to 160 foot. In Florida waters, 300 foot is a long way from land. You can not get one detector that is good for everything. I suggest you visit the manufactures web sites and do some serious reading before I can recommend any detector brand and model.
