Best Place to sell 40%s to, I know this has come up before..

Is provident metals a good place to sell too? APMEX only wants $1,000 increments of 40%s it seems.. I have about 200 of them to sale.. Thoughts?

Try asking people you know if they want to invest in silver... I plan on selling my whole stash (not that much though lol) to my brother in the upcoming months.

Try selling them here Austin. I've never had a bad transaction through here and I usually sell anything that I put up in a day or 2.

Provident metals is the best company I have found I have sold over 2000.00 in 40%rs to them and have gotten my check very quickly.They give you a quarter or so below spot.Very good company.

Good Idea sean, I just put the Ad up... This whole losing my job thing really sucks and hits home. On the bright side, I was denied unemployment even though I worked for 8 months out of the year... :laughing9:

As you know.. I know right where you are coming from.

I have to square away a couple of things with the next 2 checks, but once they are taken care of I'll be able to invest a little bit into silver again.

The unemployment was a joke. I literally can't find another job right now. Nothing is there. They only counted 3 months of my wages and denied me. So if I don't sell my investments now I risk losing everything.... Yay for life. Atleast I have my health.

I hear ya man. I lost count of how many resumes I sent out before I FINALLY found a job. Granted it's 80 miles from my house, but it's a paycheck and I actually like the job.

Sorry to hear that. What profession are you in? Somebody eluded to being a teacher, is that correct?

Try bulliondirect.com they have the "nucleo" exchange, which is a peer to peer platform. There is a bid and ask for all sorts of things. 40% starts at $10 face, so you can sell the amount you wish.

Right now bid is $90.50 and ask is $97. YOu could put an ask in for $95 and become the lowest ask. Would hopefully get that. It's a pretty good price for 40%ers right now. Or you could sell at the bid (I never do. Always get more by putting my own new ask in) and be done with it. their fee is 1%, with no minimum. So on$10 face, if you sold at $95, their fee is $0.95. Total. NOt bad for a third party putting a platform together. :-)

I've bought and sold there MANY times, all with good success.
