I managed to get to the field for a couple of hours this afternoon. Found a few keepers and the rest were broken beyond knowing what they were. So I am calling them worked flint but not pictured. I keep it anyway never know later I might find something I missed in the pile. I learn something new every year. Got some better pics. After looking at them in the day light I believe they are all tools and scrapers, HH rock.

It's good that you could get out for at least a little while and those are pretty! That one looks like two different colors, do you think they were working on it and decided to toss it or was it maybe damaged by a machine or something?

You are lucky to have rain. I have lots of fields to look but we have not had any rain in weeks and weeks.

Still a couple nice ones in there Rock. I always feal after finding a bunch of broke pieces the odds are turning in your favor that a really nice one will turn up soon.

Yeah most are broken when you find them. I have a tub not pictured of broken pieces. The ones pictured are pretty much whole and the best ones. The 1 I thought was a point was reworked to a hafted scraper, use to be a point.

The one that looks like a broken tip I have shown the end where you can see they reworked it to a tool on the end so it is now a whole tool.

Hi rock I've been hanging out on the "Daily shot" forum (think that's what it's called?)...got lots of animal pictures to post because of spring/summer and the fact it's been so hot to hunt. But, I did find something & will post.....probably will do it this evening. You've been "Mr. Find'em" lately, very happy for you.

whoops...forgot to add...yes, got about 6 inches of rain so far & more expected today...I've got the mosquitoes bites to prove it...
