I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the "right" and Liberals are called the "left”.

By chance I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible:
"The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left." Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV) Thus sayeth the Lord. Amen.

Can't get any simpler than that.

I am confused I guess. I do not work in my field of study. My meaning is that my education hasn't actually paid me back in spending money.

I meet many people just like that, with a Bachelors or Masters degree. when I was 18 I worked with a guy in the oilfield that had a masters. No money in his field of study so he was toiling with us.
There are a lot of degrees that one can get, doesn't mean one should. Just throwing money at a smokey promise.
