Big Black Coshocton MEADOWOOD!

One of my best finds yet!!!

A Classic Meadowood I found in Coshocton county Ohio.

3 5/8" x 1 1/2" , 100% there

Converse:
Ohio Flint Types:
Meadowood:

4,500-3,000 BP

This is not a common type in Ohio, and most finds consist of isolated pieces. Few of them are seen in any numbers of surface collections in Ohio...Prime characteristics are a straight base and small shallow side notches...A wide range of flints...Upper Mercer gray as well as black.
