🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Big Brassy Victorian Thing

Found at an 1840s Homestead. Its solid brass, heavy, has pully-like rollers on either end, still work. Maybe used for sashes/curtains or chains for a clock? Appears Victorian in its look.
