Got out for a few hours today, luckily Flo didn’t bring much rain! Found a ton of garbage, handful of clad, and an 1820 Large Cent in great shape. After getting it cleaned up and doing some research, I’ve concluded it’s an error coin. Check it out!

Great find A. Thanks for sharing...

I'd love to have found that. I love it when you can find a wild variety like that, congrats on a really cool find.

Love it! Great shape. Congrats

Congratualtions on the old copper! :occasion14:

Pretty coin. That's awesome. Congrats :icon_thumright:

Very nice find! I wish I could find coppers in that condition; my soil up here must do them in.

Nice item. If I were you I would have one of the professional grading services conserve it, or, diy with some of the Andre's pencils. I love them and they work wonders. Do not use chemicals, not even water.

Wow very cool copper! :icon_thumleft: Looks very detailed.

your the bearer of that error sweet find

Now that is not only a great L.C. but an error is the icing on the cake. Wow.

Nice find. In general large cents have many error coins. Many years had relatively large mintages and quality control was not what it is today. Dies were frequently reused and altered ; especially the date because it was easier than remaking an entire die.
